Is each snowflake unique?

Posted by Sarah Brooks on

Is each snowflake unique? Is each snowflake unique? Scientists went to find out if it was possible to duplicate snowflakes. Surely enough, we also find out what conditions would change the snowflake formation stages. Snowflakes are beautiful in its own way. They all start in the shape of frozen water crystals, which at their most basic shape is the simple hexagonal shape. As a snowflake makes its way through the sky, different conditions that the snowflake would encounter will affect its growth. Watch the video to find out what causes snowflakes to form the way they did as they fall from the sky! Isn’t that interesting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gojddrb70N8
